Overview
The Book Amenity feature allows residents or users to reserve shared amenities within an apartment or community, such as swimming pools, gyms, and tennis courts. It helps manage and streamline the booking process, ensuring fair and organized access to facilities.
Key Functionalities
1. Add a Booking
- Users can create a new booking by clicking the Add button.
- Required details include:
- Amenity Name
- Booking Date & Time
- Number of Persons
2. Search & Filters
- Users can search for amenities by name or user name.
- Filters allow users to narrow down results by selecting booking dates.
3. Booking Details
Each booking includes the following details:
- Amenity Name – The facility being reserved.
- Booked By – The user who made the booking.
- Booking Date – The date of the reservation.
- Booking Time – The specific time slot for the booking.
- Slot Time – Duration of the booking slot.
- Number of Persons – The count of individuals included in the reservation.
4. Booking Management
Users can perform the following actions:
- Update existing bookings to modify reservation details.
- Delete a booking if it's no longer needed.
5. Export Functionality
- Users can export the booking data for record-keeping and reporting.
How to Use
- Navigate to Amenities > Book Amenity in the system.
- Click on Add to create a new booking.
- Use the search bar or filters to find an amenity.
- Click Update to modify an existing reservation.
- Click the Trash icon to delete a booking.
This feature ensures structured amenity management and prevents double bookings or scheduling conflicts.
