An employee shift refers to the scheduled period during which an employee is expected to work. Shifts can vary in timing, such as morning, afternoon, evening, or night, depending on the company's operational needs. Shifts are commonly used in industries like healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and customer service, where continuous coverage is required throughout the day.

Create New shift by click on Create shift.

Admin can create 2 type of shift .

1. Strict Shift

2. Flexible Shift

Strict Shift :  A strict shift refers to a work schedule where employees are required to adhere to specific start and end times without flexibility. Employees must begin and finish their shift at the designated times, and deviations (such as arriving late or leaving early) are typically not permitted unless approved.

Admin needs to put Shift name, Shortcode, Start time, end time , Autocloct out hours, half-day mark time, Late mark time and office open day.

Flexible Shift: A flexible shift is a work schedule that allows employees to choose or adjust their start and end times within a certain range, rather than adhering to a fixed schedule. It provides more autonomy for employees to manage their work hours around personal needs or preferences, as long as they meet the required total hours or complete their assigned tasks.

In flexible shifts admin needs to put Total shift hours and Halfday shift hours timings.
