EMPLOYEES
An employee is an individual who agrees to offer their services in exchange for wages or other agree-to-compensation. This Employee section under the HR Module offers space to record individuals' required data which are saved in the organization's database for future references.
It records the data in a tabular manner which adds information for Name, Email, Role, Status, and Descriptive View along with the permissions for editing and deletion. One can look more clearly into an individual's profile by clicking on the Employee's name.
There are options to add Employees either manually wherein you feed in all the details for them or via invitation wherein they get an invite link to do the rest of the work themselves. Right beside these two features, it has an option for exporting the recorded list for offline visibility or accessibility.
When we look individually into each employee's profiles, we get the opportunity to look deeper into their profiles by section. It offers the following sections for viewing:
(1) PROFILE: This allows us to take a descriptive view into all the necessary details. It covers data from their personal information to work including tasks, projects, remaining work, and other included tasks. It makes understanding one's profile easier and more compact.
(2) PROJECTS: This sheet in the Employees section records data for all assigned projects to the individual. It includes the name of the projects, members, client's name, status of the project, deadline, and option for descriptive view in their assigned projects along with options for editing, Gantt Chart view, Archive, and deletion. New projects can be added by clicking on the "Add Project" option in the top left corner and the list can be exported for offline access by clicking on the "Export" option right beside it.
(3) TASKS: The Tasks sheet records all the tasks for different projects along with their project details, due date, status, and extra options for editing, descriptive view, and deletion.
(4) LEAVES: The Leaves sheet records the leaves employee has applied for along with their status (approved/rejected/pending), leave category (casual/sick/earned), and options for viewing, editing, and deletion. On the top left corner, there is an option for assigning leaves to the chosen employee but this can be done by the admin alone. The leave list can be exported by using the "Export" option.
(5) LEAVE QUOTA: This sheet covers the statistical information of the allotted leaves under each category and the taken leave by the individual under individual categories.
(6) TIME LOGS: This sheet records the time taken for completion of different tasks under different sections with complete information including the start and end time, total hours, earning, and options for editing, and deletion. Time logs can be added to the list by clicking on the "Log Time" button on the top left corner and the list can be exported using the "Export" option.
(7) DOCUMENTS: This sheet collects all the official documents needed by the organization to record individuals' correct data and official reasons. It makes the documentation process easier for the organization by adding their details and documents directly in the main database.
(8) PERMISSIONS: This sheet provides the space to the admin to identify what all is to be accessible by the individual and what all isn't. It is not possible to edit the admin's permissions as they have been fixed from the beginning.
(9) EMERGENCY CONTACTS :
Emergency Contact: A person designated to be notified in case of an urgent situation involving an individual, such as a medical emergency or accident. This contact is typically a close relative, friend, or guardian who can provide assistance or crucial information when needed.
10) INCREAMENT & PROMOTION :
Increment: An increase in an employee's salary or wage, typically given as a reward for performance, tenure, or cost-of-living adjustments.
Promotion: The advancement of an employee to a higher position within the organization, often accompanied by increased responsibilities, authority, and sometimes higher pay.
11) TICKET :
A documented request or report submitted to address an issue, query, or task, often used in customer support, IT services, or project management. It tracks the progress and resolution of the matter, ensuring efficient handling and accountability.
