Currency Settings Documentation

Overview

The Currency Settings Module in SocietyPro allows administrators to manage multiple currencies, set a default currency, and format currency display styles for transactions within the platform.

Key Features

• Add New Currency: Supports multiple global currencies.
• Update Existing Currency: Modify currency details such as symbols and format.
• Delete Non-Default Currencies: Remove unnecessary currencies (except the default currency).
• Automatic Currency Formatting: Ensures consistency in price display based on selected currency.

Accessing the Currency Settings Module

1. Log in to SocietyPro.
2. Navigate to Settings > Currency Settings.
3. Modify, add, or delete currencies as needed.

Currency Management Options

1. Adding a New Currency

1. Click the "Add Currency" button.
2. Select the desired currency from the list.
3. Assign a currency symbol (e.g., $ for USD, ₹ for INR).
4. Define the currency format (e.g., 12,345.68).
5. Click Save to apply the new currency.

2. Updating an Existing Currency

1. Locate the currency you want to modify.
2. Click "Update" next to the respective currency.
3. Adjust the currency symbol or format as required.
4. Click Save to confirm the changes.

3. Deleting a Currency

1. Click the trash icon (?️) next to the currency you want to remove.
2. Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
3. Note: The default currency cannot be deleted.

Currency Formatting

Each currency follows a standardized format for clarity in transactions. Example formats:

• USD ($) → $12,345.68
• INR (₹) → ₹12,345.68
• GBP (£) → £12,345.68
• EUR (€) → €12,345.68

How to Save Changes

1. After adding, updating, or deleting a currency, ensure all changes are correct.
2. Click Save to apply the updates.
3. Refresh the page to see the changes take effect.
