Clock-in/Clock-out
Overview
The Clock-in/Clock-out feature in SocietyPro helps track the working hours of service providers (maids, drivers, electricians, etc.) within a residential community. It ensures accurate attendance records, facilitates payroll management, and helps maintain transparency.
Key Features
1. Add Entry (Manual Clock-in/Clock-out)
- Click the "Add" button (located at the top right).
- Enter details such as:
- Service Person Name
- Clock-in Time
- Clock-out Time
- Click Save to update the record.
- Useful for cases where an entry was missed or needs correction.
2. Search Service Person
- A search bar is available to find a specific service provider by name.
- This helps quickly locate records without manual scrolling.
3. Date Selection
- Users can filter records by selecting a date range.
- Default selection is "Today", but users can choose custom dates.
- Two date pickers allow setting a start date and an end date for past records.
4. Clock-in Time
- The Clock-in time records when a service provider starts work for the day.
- It can be tracked automatically or entered manually by an admin.
5. Clock-out Time
- The Clock-out time records when a service provider finishes work.
- Like clock-in, this can be tracked automatically or added manually.
6. Reset Filter
- The Reset button clears all selected filters and reloads the default view.
7. Export Data
- Click the Export button to download records in CSV, Excel, or PDF format.
- Useful for payroll processing, attendance tracking, and audits.
8. No Records Found
- If no service providers have clocked in/out within the selected date range, a "No records found" message appears.
- Users may need to adjust filters or check if service providers are registered in the system.
How to Use the Clock-in/Clock-out Feature
1. Adding a Manual Entry
- Click the "Add" button in the top-right corner.
- Enter service provider details, including Clock-in & Clock-out time.
- Click Save to store the record.
2. Viewing Attendance Records
- Navigate to Services > Clock-in/Clock-out from the left menu.
- Use the search bar to find a specific service provider.
- Select a date range to view records for past days.
3. Exporting Records
- Click the Export button.
- Choose a format (CSV, Excel, or PDF).
- Download the file for payroll or auditing purposes.
