Overview
The Services Module in SocietyPro is designed to help residents and management efficiently manage and track various service providers within the community. It provides a structured way to view, filter, and manage service personnel, such as maids, drivers, electricians, plumbers, and more.
This module allows users to:
✅ Browse available service providers
✅ Filter services by category (Maid, Cook, Driver, Electrician, etc.)
✅ View service provider details (contact info, availability, pricing)
✅ Update or remove service entries
✅ Export service provider data
1. Service Categories
The module includes multiple categories of services, such as:
- Household Services – Maid, Cook, Full-time Maid, Housekeeping
- Transport Services – Driver, School Bus, Car Cleaner
- Health & Wellness – Doctor, Blood Test, Gym Instructor, Yoga Instructor
- Repairs & Maintenance – Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Pest Control, AC Service
- Miscellaneous – Newspaper, Milkman, Internet Repair, Cable/TV Repair, Scrap Dealer
Users can click on a service category (e.g., Maid) to view relevant personnel.
2. Managing Service Providers
The Services Dashboard displays all available service providers with the following details:
- Contact Person – The name of the service provider.
- Service – The type of service they offer.
- Contact Number – Their phone number.
- Status – Their current availability (Available/Unavailable).
- Daily Help Availability – Whether they offer daily assistance.
- Price – Their service charges (Per Month/Per Year).
- Action – Options to update or remove the service provider.
To update details, click "Update" next to the respective provider.
To remove a service provider, click the ?️ delete icon next to their entry.
3. Searching and Filtering Services
Users can quickly find a specific service provider using:
? Search Bar – Enter the provider’s name to locate them.
? Filters – Sort service providers based on availability, pricing, or type of service.
This makes it easier for residents to find and hire the right service provider.
4. Exporting Service Data
For documentation or record-keeping, users can:
- Click the "Export" button in the top-right corner.
- Select the preferred format (Excel, CSV, or PDF).
This feature is useful for society management to maintain service provider records.
Steps to Add a New Service
1. Select Service Type
- Choose the appropriate service type from the dropdown (e.g., Maid, Electrician, Driver).
- If the service provider offers daily help, check the "Is he/she will be a daily help?" box.
2. Location Details
- Select Tower: Choose the relevant tower in the community.
- Select Floor: Specify the floor where the service will be provided.
- Select Apartment: If the service is linked to a particular apartment, select it from the list.
3. Contact Information
- Contact Person Name (Required): Enter the full name of the service provider.
- Contact Number (Required): Provide a valid phone number for communication.
- Company Name (Optional): If applicable, enter the company providing the service.
- Website Link (Optional): Add a website link for more details about the service.
4. Payment Details
- Payment Frequency (Required): Choose how payments are scheduled (Per Visit, Per Month, Per Year).
- Price: Specify the cost of the service.
5. Additional Information
- Description: Add extra details about the service (e.g., working hours, expertise).
- Status: Set availability (Available, Unavailable, On Hold).
- Upload Photo: Attach an image of the service provider for better identification.
6. Save the Service
- Click "Save" to add the new service to the system.
- Click "Cancel" to discard changes.
