Overview
The Storage Settings Module in SocietyPro allows administrators to configure how files and data are stored. Users can choose between local storage and various cloud storage providers for better scalability and security.
Key Features
- Local Storage: Stores files on the server's local disk (default option).
- Cloud Storage Options: Choose from DigitalOcean Spaces, AWS S3, Wasabi, or MinIO for enhanced security and performance.
- Easy Switching: Change storage preferences with a single selection and save settings.
Accessing the Storage Settings Module
- Log in to SocietyPro.
- Navigate to Settings > Storage Settings.
- Select the desired storage option.
How to Configure Storage Settings
- Choose a storage provider by selecting one of the available options.
- If using cloud storage, follow the documentation links to configure API keys and credentials.
- Click the Save button to apply changes.
Important Notes
- Local storage is the default option, but it is recommended to use a cloud storage provider for security and reliability.
- Changing storage settings does not migrate existing files automatically. You must transfer files manually if switching from Local to Cloud.
