TASKS
The Tasks sheet under the Work Module handles information for all the tasks assigned to the team or individuals respectively. This section compiles all the data for the tasks and thus, covers the overall progress of the chosen project. It records the presented data in a tabular manner wherein it stores the task Title/Name, concerning Project, Due date, Members it is assigned to, the status of the task, and few additional options including, descriptive view, editing, and deletion.
Clicking the option available on the top left corner for adding a task presents a pre-generated form that demands some basic information for collecting data for a specific task in this column. The details demand the following information:
(1) Title: This space records the name/tag by which the task would be seen and accessible.
(2) Task Category: Depending on the task chosen they can easily be placed into separate categories which can be chosen from here.
(3) Project: This records the details of the project to which this task concerns.
(4) Dates: Start and Due Date are recorded here.
(5) Assigned to : The member to whom the task is appointed is chosen from this slot in the form.
(6) Description: This part holds a part of the information concerning the project and task that are a must when working on the task.
(7) Label: This part of the form labels the tasks mentioned in the list.
(8) Milestones: Tasks can also be added to individual milestones which will record progress not only for the project but also for the milestone it is being further added in.
(9) Status: This slot in the form marks whether the added task is incomplete, under progress, or complete.
(10) Priority: The tasks can be of varied priorities depending on their importance. This is specified using this slot in the form by mentioning its priority as Low, Medium, or High.
(11) Checkbox: There are certain checkboxes to select in the form which adds features to the task added, these are customizable and on user's choice whether what would be of preference to them.
(12) Files: This slot allows to the addition of files that are required for individual tasks in this section which permits its easier access later.
Looking into individual tasks presents information from all its basic details to the descriptive data added in it. It also presents the information for the designated tasks that must be taken into consideration by the member while working on it. This section in this panel provides complete information from the task details, project details, description, priority status, work status, dates, and the time logged until its completion. This makes the understanding and detailing of the task comfortably.
